About Andy Torres
Andy Torres is a Mexican fashion blogger, creative director, stylist, and television host based in Amsterdam. She is best known as the founder of StyleScrapbook, one of the earliest and most influential fashion blogs in the world, which she launched in November 2007.
Born and raised in Mexico, Torres moved to Europe in her early twenties and started StyleScrapbook as a visual diary of her personal style, DIY projects, and styling tips. Her signature “high and low” approach—mixing high-end accessories with affordable high-street fashion—quickly attracted an international audience and positioned the blog as a leading voice in the global fashion blogging movement.
Over more than 15 years, Torres has worked as a creative consultant, stylist, and art director for major brands, including Dior, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Nike, Levi’s, Max Mara, Sportmax, L’Oréal, and Vanity Fair, among others. She collaborated with the Italian fashion house Sportmax (part of the Max Mara group) to design and launch a capsule collection, showcasing her vision as a creative director.
In addition to her digital work, Torres has hosted her own series on Cosmopolitan TV and served as a judge on the E! Entertainment Television show “ELLE Mexico Diseña”. She was also the first fashion blogger to deliver a TED talk, in 2011, and has appeared in national and international billboard campaigns for brands such as Canon, Mango, Philips, and Kipling.
Through StyleScrapbook and her social media presence—where she has amassed hundreds of thousands of followers—Torres continues to share content on fashion, travel, lifestyle, and personal growth, describing herself as a “Fashion Blogger OG, TED Speaker, Creative Consultant & Former Athlete.”
